1990-91 Score American Hockey Forum

I question the existence of the corrected version of card #30, Joe Nieuwendyk. I can find no examples available for sale, and, perhaps more telling, the factory set I just opened last week included the error card, while every other card in the set with an error and correction was the corrected version. 

Not only could I not find any for sale, I couldn't find an image of one either...the front image posted is not really the card, just point farming, and cannot be used to verify if the card exists or not. 

There are 121 listed as being in collections and 8 listed as for sale/trade. Do any of these members actually own this card, or is it another case of people not paying attention to which version they have? 

Unless someone can prove otherwise, I am going to believe this card does not actually exist.

Knowing wha tI know about this set, I agree with Billy.

removed mine as only have the ERR ones, same story as Billy, Factory set doesn't have and others I have are pulled from packs. No COR

My FS had the ERR version.

I was able to find something on Beckett's website. They do offer a list of sellers. So unless you messaged them all asking to actually look at the card. I do find it odd no images of it have emerged yet, if it does exist.

I have never seen one and I've been looking for years. Billy, did you get 102b (catches left), 231b (shoots left) and 407b (catches left)? I've also been looking for them as well. 

It doesn't seem to exist on COMC neither.

I didn't get any of the versions missing scans- I was incorrect when I said I only got corrections. This mistake is particularly embarassing as I had scanned the Kip Miller card missing the Score logo yesterday, and had already labeled it as the error version when I made the post. 

Is it possible that all the cards missing scans are phantom?

Not all. There are a couple I have seen, I'll check which ones and report back. Some of the confusion arises from the fact that there are American and Canadian sets. Some ERR and COR versions are confirmed from one set but not the other, while others only exist in one set. For example the 30A ERR cannot occur in the Canadian set as the word "fell" or "feel" is not used on the back of the card.  

It's possible that none exist in the American set. I can confirm 31a ERR, 231b COR and 407b COR exist in the Canadian version, but have no evidence for the American version. I cannot find evidence of the 102b COR in either set. Members should check their cards and if they find any of the unconfirmed cards, post the scans..
