1979 Topps Burger King New York Yankees Baseball Forum

I was entering cards from some recent common purchases of 1979 Topps cards and ran across a really nice Graig Nettles card.  On the back it is numbered 15.  The problem comes about because the Database checklist for 1979 Topps shows card 15 as Ross Grimsley.  The Topps Checklist card also shows #15 as Ross Grimsley.  Is this some sort of "error card?  Any help would be appreciated.

Not an error.  Your card is from the 1979 Burger King NY Yankees team set.

It is from the Burger King team set.  You can do a player search for Graig Nettles then select a number filter of 15.

The card you have ( #15 ) is from the 1979 Burger King set. Go to  1979 sets and filter for food issue for the full checklist.

I wonder how many of these are actually in people's sets, especially those that use just a list of numbers and cross them off...

Now I just have to find someone that collects the Burger King Team Sets!

Add them to your sale / trade list. Some Yankee fan will take them :).

And for future reference, you can always go to the player's page and use the Filter function. By filtering by card number this would have popped up. Easy way to narrow th search.
