1979 TCMA 1927 New York Yankees Baseball Forum

I have 3 different ones in this/and related sets.

I think the black framing indicates the 79 version

I also have 2 that have tan/brown framing of Miller Huggins, one with MLB logo, and one without.

I know the one with MLB logo probably comes from the 87 TCMA collector kits reprints, but I also think the other one without MLB logo is a reprint also since they 'feel the same' and slightly different feel from the other original 1979 one I have...

I am not asking for any new entries in our database here, just wanted to bring this  up in case folks have some in their collection they want to check closer.

From my experience there would be 3 variations.  An original, and to reprint variations.  The reprints belong to the 1987 collector kits.  I feel they were first produced without the logo, and at some point MLB requires the licensing so the second reprints included the MLB logo.   A veteran to this site can weigh in and maybe explain it better than I have.
