Why is this card not an "UER" card, since it shows him pitching 5 games in 1976 and working 103 innings while getting 6 wins and 6 losses! Retrosheet confirms that it should be 58 games. Wouldn't have noticed except I check his cards more closely due to the Billy Jean King connection.

Maybe because no one saw it before. There's plenty of UERs in here that have never been documented anywhere

Does having it marked as a UER make it any more special?

Good eye on that one! If you navigate to the card here on the site (click here -> https://www.tcdb.com/ViewCard.cfm/sid/79/cid/20282/1977-Topps-464-Randy-Moffitt ) on the left hand side of the page under the Set Links section you should see the words See any inaccuracies? , left click on the link below where is states Click here to let us know. This will take you to a report you can fill out with the details, just as you did here with this post. It will be investigated and the card will be more that likely marked as an UER here on the site. That's part of the fun of this crowd sharing site, hundreds if not thousands of eyes have read the stats on the back of that card and either didn't notice or didn't question the numbers.

I’ll report it. It is fun to see something here that no one noticed. I assumed I was missing a technicality of some sort like UCRs are only for names or something.

I often wonder who had time to fact-check all of the stats for all of the UER cards that have already been identified on this site. I have enough of a challenge just keeping up with my trading and submitting the occasional scan.

Sometimes it's just a fluke. I found one from a 90's football set where they had reversed the TD and Longest Reception numbers. It was for a Bucs receiver so I guess I paid a little more attention. I didn't recall this guy scoring 33 TD's in a season but his longest catch was for 1-yard according to the stats on the back. I then checked the site and the picture on here had the same.

I agree that it is a bit random to find them. In this case I happen to like coming across Randy Moffitt cards as I said above. Still probably handled it a dozen times without seeing the error. So I'm not likely to find another new UER for several years!
