After college at the University of Missouri, Med Park played one season with the Generals before he was signed by the St. Louis Hawks. He played five seasons in the league and earned a championship ring with the '58 Hawks. |

An All-American at UK, Bill Spivey was indicted in a 1951 point-shaving scandal. He was acquitted, but Spivey was banned from the NBA for life. He barnstormed with many teams, including the Generals, before a long career in the Eastern League. |

10. 1981-82 Topps #E67 Charlie Criss
After winning back-to-back MVP awards in the Continental Basketball League, 5' 8" Charlie Criss was invited to the Knicks training camp, but was cut before the first preseason game. He decided not to return to the CBA, but to try out for the Globetrotters. He didn't make the Globies either, but as picked up by the Generals for a two-month tour. After the tour, he was invited to the Atlanta Hawks camp and made the team, launching an eight-year NBA career. |
