I've been away, but I'm finally back!!  At this time I'm not looking to buy. In fact, I'm just looking to use up the last of my stamps before I have to take a hiatus for a few months.

My wantlist is every card that I'm missing for my 35+ player PC.  Looking at our matches may be daunting, but here are typically the cards I'm prioritizing:

Of course, this is not set in stone, it just gives you an idea of how to really get me interested in a trade. Sometimes I'm hunting other players, inserts, and sets.  And I'm never opposed to serial numbered, relic, or autographed cards, but I understand I don't exactly have the trade capital for a Ted Williams autograph.

I prefer PWE trades, but am open to different shipping methods.

As far as my For Sale/Trade List, just about all of my modern cards are now listed, but I update as I rip or acquire as well.

I've collected since about 1998-2003, and then again 2018-present.  My cards will be free of major imperfections, unless I specify in a note, and I will double check them as I pull them for trades.  Please let me know if the cards I am trading for have any obvious damage.

  I am a hobby collector. All of my cards have been handled except unopened packages. I get my cards from many sources, yard sales, second hand stores, private collectors. A few of my cards are in near mint condition, a few of my cards are in well traded condition and some are in poor. Some have bumped corners, rough edges and the such, or manufacturing defects, I do not typically mark these in the database. I also have not gone and rechecked all my old Donruss yet for the variations. If I have a card w/any sort of major defect I trade them as set fillers for free with any other transaction.

A lot of my cards come to me in penny sleeves and some of them I do not remove before trade, I just look at them so I might miss something. If there is a major defect that I notice, I will let you know.  If I have time, I will put the major defects in the notes when I add the cards to the database.

I am not a professional grader. I do not believe in "mint" unless the card has never been handled. I have a hard time interpreting the various explanations and definitions of the conditions of cards; if I mark a card as "good" it could vary from slightly better to worse.

If I trade with you and you feel the card isn't in acceptable condition, and I didn't tell you or mark it as so in the database, please let me know and I will try my best to rectify the issue.

I am not against trading 1 card for a bunch of cards or vice versa as long as the trade is fair on both sides.

I do not rely solely on the prices on here. I have learned they can be somewhat unreliable. I check a variety of other sources as well, and suggest you do the same. (This mainly goes for big ticket items or cards that seem off to me).

Collected as a kid starting in 1979 and stopped in 1989.  2021 pulled my cards out of storage and started collecting again.  As a kid I collected all sports, whatever cards I could find.

Sadly modern day cards are influenced by fantasy football and not the play on the field.  Why would you make a card of a WR with 3 catches but not an offensive lineman or defensive players that are Pro Bowlers and possibly on their way to the Hall?!?  I'll take the Junk Wax era over today and the 42 brands all printing 20 versions of all the same QBs, RBs, & WRs!

I have lots of baseball and a little basketball from late 80's to early 90's that I'm looking to trade. I am open to small and large trades, and any offer will be considered. Although I prefer to trade base card for base card, insert for insert, star for star, etc, I understand that this may not always be possible based on each others' needs and available traders, but please be reasonable. In doing this, my biggest aim is not necessarily looking at perceived monetary values, but moreso finding value for both sides by growing both of our collections. I am willing to trade cross-border, or even with our members outside of North America, as long as the trade is agreeable for everyone. Remember, international shipping costs are more for BOTH traders.

I am quite happy to provide details on card conditions or any kinds of photos you might want, just say the magic words. I will always do my best to let you know of any sort of defects I observe, but I ask the same in return. I believe I have a pretty good record of having done this with trading partners in the past. CARD CONDITION

I have removed all recent cards that are not NRMT or better from my inventory.  ExMt or better from 80's or earlier.  Anything less than ExMt will be specified and discussed before mailing.  In turn, I ask that you do not send me anything that does not meet these criteria. 

POSTAGE

I will send all cards in plain white envelope (PWE) unless agreed otherwise or if card values are high.  Mailing more than 18 cards may be split into separate envelopes.  I always buy postage at the post office and get a receipt so I have some kind of verification.

Single cards will go out in a toploader.  Multiple cards will go in a 9 pocket sheet, folded and placed between more rigid cardboard.  The goal is to keep it thin to keep it cheap and avoid package charges.

TRADING

I use Beckett pricing to even up trades.  If you look up prices on Ebay, Sportlots or COMC, sell your cards there.  

I collect all things Iowa.  Players from Iowa, Iowa State, Northern Iowa and Drake.  Players from DMACC, Iowa Wesleyan, Indian Hills, Coe, Simpson, or whatever school in Iowa.  Players born in Iowa like Roger Craig and Darren Sproles.  Players who lived there when they were kids like Jim Harbaugh.  Politicians like Herbert Hoover and Fred Grandy.  Actors like John Wayne and Fred Grandy.  Artists like Grant Wood.  Whatever it is, as long as its Iowa.

My collecting started as a kid but has gotten much more organized since finding this site in 2022. I am looking to expand my collection through a couple collecting projects, mainly team sets of Phillies, Eagles, and Sixers 1991-present. I also recently undertook a project to create a rookie binder of the All-Decade Teams for MLB, NBA, and NFL.

I do my best to respond to and ship cards quickly, but real life obligations come first. Now that the holidays are over I am looking forward to getting back to trading and checking off items on my want list.

I enjoy buying large lots of random cards from estates, auctions, yard sales and digging through them to find my favorite players or just anything I don't already have. I'm open to trading/selling. Cards are in various conditions as some are from packs I bought vs. large boxes of randomness bought from various places across the country. 

TRADING: Will process trade requests in the order they are received. FST cards are ExMt or better with a few vintage exceptions. Trades of all shapes and sizes are welcome. I'm not particular about condition except I have a 'no writing' rule. Seeing writing on a card reminds me of the horrors I inflicted upon my cards as a kid...lol.

VARIATIONS: I checked my sets when I initially entered them in 2021, but some of this years additions to 'variation hell' have not been double checked (EX. 1991 Fleer Baseball). If the VAR is important, please let me know and I will check my cards.

Don't have much of anything to trade any more either.

Someday I hope to get back in the game, but not anytime soon.

At this time primarily interested in completing Braves, Red Sox, Orioles and Yankees team sets from the 70's and early 80's. There are some other team sets from the 90s I am trying to complete but more interested in the older cards.

My most hated set is the 1990 Fleer, have loads of duplicates and have thrown more in the trash than I care to think about. Finding a really well centered 90 Fleer card is a miracle indeed.

Set collecting: 1978Topps set and 1972. I hope to get Vg+ condition for stars and VgEx+ for commons. Mainly trying to avoid creases on all cards.

Ultimately. I will be adding a few hockey cards as well as football and basketball and some non-sports cards but I only wish to trade for baseball cards currently.

Currently no trades outside of the United States.

**I prefer to sell anything on my for sale/trade list as I'm trying to move a large portion of my collection.**

Of course, I will trade as well but I have a very small want list.  If you offer on my want list I will probably be pretty flexible on the trade. Ex. If I have Gwynn RC on my wantlist and you want 10-20 cards in return I’ll probably work with you to get it done.

1957-Present Cincinnati Reds Topps Team Sets mainly.  A few obscure Reds who have played but only have a card or two in a Reds uniform.  Most 1980 or newer cards I have listed For Sale/Trade I've pulled out of wax boxes / sets recently so they will have sharp corners.  Opening vintage boxes & sets is a bad habit :)

I will consider all trades, big or small, to USA and Canada. As a rule of thumb I would prefer to trade base for base.  I do have some inserts and short prints in my FSFT list.  I will consider trading inserts for base cards on a case by case basis. For the short prints I am hoping to trade for other short prints on my want list.  As far as condition is concerned I am looking for NRMT for 1980-Present, 1970s EX-NRMT, anything prior to 1960 I will consider almost any condition (although I would ask for pictures prior to accepting).

Born and raised in Cleveland and have been a huge baseball fan ever since I remember.  I credit my grandfather with my love of the game and love of the team.  My first memories are of the playoff teams of the 90's and I've been collecting ever since.  My goal in collecting is to collect as many different players as possible who wore the uniform.  This started out as collecting all flagship sets over the years, but has expanded to many less known sets as well.  Eventually I may even look to include inserts, parallels, etc.
