This set (#1-250) was scheduled to be released in September 1998 but was never officially distributed due to Pinnacle's bankruptcy. All cards listed within were discovered and distributed in the aftermarket. #1-100 (one star) would have been inserted three per pack, #101-175 (two stars) would have been inserted two per pack, #176-225 (three stars) would have been inserted 1:7 packs, and #226-250 (four stars) would have been inserted 1:23 packs.

Would have been inserted 1:23 packs. Some of these cards may be available in the aftermarket.

Select Test Issue - Five-Star Test Issue

Would have been serial numbered to 50. Some of these cards may be available in the aftermarket.

Select Test Issue - Jersey Number Test Issue

Would have been serial numbered to the player's jersey number. Some of these cards may be available in the aftermarket with "00/00" printed on the upper back where the serial number would have appeared.

Select Test Issue - Rare Form Test Issue

Would have been inserted 1:99 packs. Some of these cards may be available in the aftermarket.

Select Test Issue - Select Numbers Test Issue

Would have been serial numbered to the player's batting average (for #1-5), on-base percentage (for #6-10), home run total (for #11-15) or strikeout total (for #16-20) in 1997. Some of these cards may be available in the aftermarket but they do not have serial numbers.

Would have been inserted 1:23 packs. Some of these cards may be available in the aftermarket.
