Year is approximate and the cards may have been distributed over a few years. These cards were distributed in Hygrade card collecting kits in the late 1980's or in related blister packs of assorted cards. One card from each of the 11 1983 ASA card sets was chosen for reproduction. The reprinted cards differ from the 1983 cards because the reprinted cards have red backs surrounded by a white frame, whereas the original cards have solid red bordered backs. Each of the reprinted cards was distributed both with and without an MLB logo on back.
