1999 Upper Deck
Trivia |
- Card #131 of Scott Karl shows him holding his 1998 Collector's Choice card.
- Not an official UER, but #167 Ben Grieve is missing a stamp for AL Rookie of the Year.
- Cards #256 through #265 do not exist
- In 1998, Upper Deck paid over $23,000 at an auction for a cracked game-used bat of Babe Ruth then planned to cut it up for use on a new memorabilia insert, which drew public ire despite the condition of the bat. The pieces of bat would eventually be randomly included in Series One packs of this set as a "Piece of the Game" insert.
