- Each pack contained 10 pictures (4,5 x 7,0 cm) of an actress or actor, with a few exceptions:
There were 10 sets (#431 to 440) in red packs, with 10 hand-colored photos.
There were also larger size pictures (5,5 x 8,5 cm), in an orange-colored pack. These packs contained 6 images instead of 10 (#301 to 310, #336 to 340 & #366 to 370).
Packs (#21 to 30) each contained 10 random cards.
In the last series (#856 to 879) each pack consisted only of one single uncut sheet with 10 photos (18 x 24 cm.).
The Ross Verlag Mäppchenbilder were produced for both the German and French (Belgium/The Netherlands) markets. On the French market cards, the words 'Imprimée en Allemagne' appear on each card.
