2001-02 Upper Deck
Trivia |
- #220 was originally a "Young Guns" card of Kings prospect Jared Aulin, which violated the trading card agreement with the NHLPA introduced in the early 2000s that stated non-goaltender rookies must appear in at least one NHL game to be included in a set. After the Aulin cards were pulled, a John LeClair "Young Guns Flashback" card became the new #220.
- Cards 412 through 441 in Series 2 (the "Young Guns" subset) have a Hobby version and a Retail version with different photos on each.
- Series 1 cards have silver stamping, while Series 2 cards have blue stamping.
- The two checklist cards in Series 1 are identified on checklist card #180 as "Steve Yzerman" and "Pavel Bure", while the two checklist cards in Series 2 featuring John LeClair and Martin Brodeur as identified on checklist card #411 as "Checklist I" and "Checklist II" instead.
