- The original checklist for this 1990 Series included 126 players, but only 85 were actually produced, four of which were postponed to Extended Series (Jim Abbott, Joe Carter, Bo Jackson and Jerome Walton). - Frank Viola is listed with the Twins on the back of the packaging despite being traded to the Mets in July 1989. He is a Met on his card and for his figurine.
- Joe Carter is listed with the Indians on the back of the packaging despite being traded to the Padres in December 1989. His figurine was postponed to Extended Series and depicted with the Padres.
