1989-90 Topps

Most of the Topps sets from the 70s and 80s are less desirable than their OPC counterparts. They are smaller sets, and it's my understanding that they generally had higher print runs. The 1989 Topps set is an exception. While it was a smaller set than the '89 OPCs, I recall reading that OPC had gone back to the presses a second time and had printed a whole bunch of extra cards, which effectively flooded the market, and made the Topps set the tougher of the two to complete. | ||
A decent if not great looking set from Topps.
