Trivia

  • SP cards from 648-660 are more difficult to find than the other SP cards in the set. The 26 SP cards were supposedly removed on some sheets to print the 26 Bonus MVP inserts. Some versions of the checklist cards include the Bonus MVP cards.
  • Distribution
Wax: 36 packs per box, 15 cards and 1 puzzle piece per pack. 20 boxes per case. Six boxes per retail display.

Rack: 24 packs per box, 45 cards and 3 puzzle pieces per pack. Three boxes per case.

Blister: 72 cards per blister. 48 blister packs per case.

    Factory Sets
  • The card front border design pattern of the factory set card fronts is oriented differently from that of the regular wax pack cards. No premium or discount exists for either version.

Anyone remember how easy it was to sort these cards out of wax packs? Each half was packaged in numerical order from two different portions of the complete run (ex. 201-208, the 353-359). If you bought a complete wax box, you could put together 82% with no duplicates, but we know that was never the case.

I have to agree with the below comment regarding lacking rookie power, though I liked the set overall. Came out in my 3rd year of collecting around 5th grade. Toys-r-us messed up there pricing at one point and sold me boxes for the $.53 pack price even after we informed them. Ripped at least a case. Think that contributed to me being the wax ripping degen I am today.
