This set was produced by the First Base Sports Nostalgia Shop of Dallas, TX to promote their successful bid to host the 1986 (NSCC) National Sports Collectors Convention. The set is meant to resemble the 1948 Bowman set, with it's 2.0in X 2.5in size and B&W photos. The convention was to be held at the Market Hall with the Marriott being the host hotel. The last card is believed to be the first-ever trading card of Jim Beckett. | ||
