- First Donruss baseball card set.
- The only year where gum was included in Donruss packs. After a Topps lawsuit, Donruss had to include something else in their packs, and in 1982 started including puzzle pieces instead.

A classic and underrated set and holds great value and fun for those collecting for the past 4 decades.

This is the inaugural set for Donruss. | ||
I like these older sets, looking back at the old uniforms and comparing them to those worn today takes me back. Looking at the card backs you can see how far donruss has come with their production. | ||
