“ Star Trekin' Love Star Trek, well most Star Trek. Next Gen is a fave of mine. I am not a fan of these "double-sided" cards. Cards where both sides could be considered the "front". Just a little pet peeve of mine. I like both sides really, both quotes are fine. Hmm I might have to rethink my like/dislike of this set. ” -captkirk42

Orphaned as a young boy during a battle, he was adopted by a human Star Fleet  (I want to say Russians) officer who raised him.  He joined Star Fleet, and as security officer (he replaced the woman on the card as main security officer in Season 2) on the Enterprise had a nice thru line story arc on both TNG and DS9 about his conflicted nature.  As well as being prominent in the Klingon political story arc through both series.
