I liked the 2008 UD Heroes sets and they got a little better in 2009. All of the parallels looked better than the base cards though. The worst thing about the Heroes product was that some of the parallels were very hard to tell which version you had if they were not SN'd. The MEM versions were really cool too, but again, the parallels of them were hard to know the difference of some without an SN on the cards. There was no reason for multiple shades of the same colors! Maybe this product is why the garbage parallels from Topps started a few years later.
I initially liked that they (UD) added athletes from other sports and musicians. But I guess it wasn't enough to keep the brand alive. I don't think there was a 2010 UD Heroes product in any sport, but they did start making the Goodwin Champions product about that time too. I don't like Goodwin Champions though. Back to the card in question, I really don't like that picture. They really couldn't use a better one?! It looks like someone just surprised him by running past him or he surprised himself when something came out of him that he wasn't expecting.
NO PWE's EVER!!! PLZ PM me 1st before sending any offer. ONLY selling cards as of March 2024. No trades or purchases right now.
