Year: 2009

Set: Topps - Gold (Rate)

“ A interesting photo angle, I like this parallel set, and this card looks particularly nice with the gold border in contrast to the sandy brown mound dirt. ” -abide

“ Scott Kazmir had possibly the most yo-yo like career ever. It seemed like he was done at least 5 times before he made a resurgence. ” -hiflew
  4
“ I have always liked that - even if unintentionally - the SN stamp on this set fits nicely in the rectangle on the back instead of just being placed somewhere, often times over multiple colors like the 2022 set, making it harder at times to read. ” -c634
  6
“ Boring for a gold card. Looks like base card quality to me. ” -tinyshogun
  2
“ Adding Gold to and already mediocre looking card doesn’t make it any more appealing. I don’t know Scott so I looked him up. Seemed to have a rather long mediocre career. ” -Derek McDonough

Hmm my comment on this one didn't go through. I like when the parallels were easily identifiable like this one. Sets now it is hard to tell when you do have a parallel.
