I love you guys and will be sending a few PWEs today and over the next couple of weeks. Awhile back I was using some baseball thank-you cards I'd purchased at a thrift store. I ran out. I picked up some Peanuts cards for $0.50 (normal retail sale price $6.99).
Unbeknownst to me were that the inscriptions inside the cards were of the intimate sort - clean and mostly construed as romantic.
I debated whether or not I should use them, and decided I should with this disclaimer: I love you guys! (Just not in the way intimated.)

If there is a person close to your heart, I hope you told tem this story or some time you in NJ your cards might end up in the Brazos River
-------------------------------
Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards

This means if you get an envelope from Texas, don't open it in front of your significant other. LOL
I guess it will all depend on how you sign the cards!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I'm thinking the Commish may have to put on some lipstick and seal each envelope with a kiss
