I always thought newenglandsportscards was a less than stellar (shady) seller. But they refuse to answer a simple question I have about some cards they are selling. My question is at the bottom; the messages are in Newest-to-Oldest order.
Also, Burbank Cards has done the same refusal to me to provide information about cards because, "they have too many cards and can't go look at them".

They have 1300+ items and they can't be arsed to answer your question? Time to move on I say.
If I get a question on an item I am selling I always try to answer it to the best of my ability.

Here was my experience with NESC:
I ordered a complete set of 1979-80 Topps Basketball and they sent me the 1978-79 set by mistake. The ebay listing for the 79-80 set indicated they had 10 in stock so I contacted them to request a straight-up exchange. They refused the exchange and only reluctantly agreed to offer a refund after first trying to talk me into just being happy with the 78-79 set (which I already had).
So I returned the set and did receive a refund, including return shipping. I wasn't particularly upset about the whole thing so once I received the refund I ordered the 79-80 set from them a second time. This time I did receive the correct set except it wasn't complete; it was missing two cards. And the cards weren't even sorted in numerical order so it was pretty obvious that no effort was made to check for completeness. At this point I left neutral (not negative) feedback indicating that the set was incomplete and bought the two missing cards on COMC.
I'm a pretty forgiving guy, so despite them screwing up both orders I placed with them I was still willing to buy from them again a couple of months later. Only to find out that they had blocked me as a buyer! (I didn't even know what was a thing you could do on ebay.)

Yes, I was blocked by Greg Morris Cards after giving them a well deserved Neutral.

Chuck, care to share your story about Greg Morris Cards?
I have heard about 4SC and NESC before. While I can't say I would never buy from them, I would consider it as a last resort. I have nothing but good things to say about Burbank. I will say it's probably better to call them on the phone than email. I've never heard of Greg Morris.
In your screencapped example it sounds like they might not actually have the cards in hand... perhaps selling them for someone else? Just speculation, of course. I have also heard tales of people selling something on eBay without actually having it, then buying it and sending it to their buyer. Not saying that is the case here but it has been done.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. gregmorriscards had a card listed as "low grade". But the scans looked perfect. So I asked what was wrong with the card because I couldn't see any flaws in the scans. His first response was "it usually means...". Then I asked if he could tell me exactly what the flaw(s) were. His reply, "No I can't, just bid accordingly for a LOW GRADE." So I bid because the scans looked great. I won and received the card. The card had a slice across the front, possible razor cut. When I complained he said he'd refund the 79 cents if I sent it back, but not the shipping ($3.50). So I left a Neutral, "No flaws in scans; refused to tell exact flaws; had cut across front of card". Then he blocked me and sent me a message that he won't unblock me unless I change my feedback to a Positive.
