Can someone please explain the concept of 2019 Heritage Hot Boxes? I pulled a purple refractor out of one of the packs I bought from a box at my local shop, which are apparently only found in hot boxes. I’m wondering if it’s worth buying up the rest of the box, but I’m not fully sure about what is contained in it besides more purple refractors.

Every pack in a hot box will contain a purple refractor.

And a Cheech and Chong card

Each of the packs will contain the purple refractor in place of a base card.  The rest of the box will still have the identical hit rate.  If your goal is to build a base set, it is more difficult with a hot box.  If you're goal is to get a bunch of purple chrome cards, then bingo.  If you like the other hits, those won't be impacted.

I just a box today from Ebay like this.  No auto though, just a Gold Refractor and a Corey Seager Clubhouse Relic.  

I think they are one per hobby case. I opened a few boxes of 2020 Heritage recently in my Facebook breaking group and one of them was a hot box like yours with a purple in every pack.
