What is OK for trimming cards that are supposed to be cut?  For example the cards you use to get on the bottom of your favorite hostess snack( Twinkees, Ding Dongs, Ho-hos etc).   They are designed to be cutted out.   Does it matter?   

No issue with cutting cards that were intended to be hand cut or cleaning up the borders if there's excess.

Got no issue with cutting out these kind of cards.

There are usually lines showing where the card border ends. As long as the cutting is done outside those lines, no harm. Once trimming is done INSIDE those lines - it's the same as trimming any other card.

I also use an edge trimmer to neaten up the box bottoms, panels etc. This makes them straight and not raggy. This doesn't jeopardize the the size and borders.

I tend to think along the same lines as PSA does with vintage cards like these.  I have seen them note "Hand Cut" on graded cards, as long as the card is a minimum size of what is accepted as the intended size of the card.  Smaller than that, they only mark them 'Authentic" without agrade...
