I purchase around 80% of my personal collection on eBay. In the last 4 months, I have had 5 deliveries via eBay USPS standard envelope shipping option marked as delivered, but I have not received them. This is not the fault of the eBay sellers, but a USPS issue. I was just wondering if any of you are experiencing the same types of issues with this shipping option.

I actually had one today get marked as delivered, but it definitely isn't at my house. I'm hoping it shows up tomorrow.

I have had four in the past two weeks. I think they are being pre-scanned at the local sorting facility to cut down on the delivery persons time on the road.

Those usually show as delivered for me a day or two before they are actually delivered. They are not scanned by the person delivering your mail, it is done at a sorting facility, and sometimes it takes a day or two longer than it probably should to go that last little bit.

I've had a handful of eBay standard envelopes show up as 'postage due', because the post office told me the envelopes were not bendable, thus they were considered to be a parcel. You may want to check your local post office to see if they are holding them until the postage due is paid.
Outside of that, eBay standard envelopes almost always contain cards. Do you have someone in your neighborhood who may be stealing them, knowing they contain cards? If you suspect theft, it is always worth posting on Nextdoor or any neighborhood Facebook pages to see if it is happening to others around you...you never know what you might find out.

I get 2 or 3 of them a week. They usually deliver after a day or 2.

No it is not a USPS issue. It is the way E-Bay has set up their tracking with the USPS. As stated, USPS only scans them at certain locations, not at your mailbox. To me they are scanned in Denver, so it is 1 to 2 days before I get them depending on when Denver gets them.

I hate Ebay tracking.... Things get marked "Out for delivery" instead of departed Distribution Center....
Occasionally takes several days after delivery before it's posted "Delivered"
Personally, anything I ship is taken to the post office....
Sent out a packet the other week, instead of "Do not Bend"
it just needs a flex a little...
Clerk changed the "Do not Bend" to "Do not fold, Photographs"....
That was for an 8 x 10 in a TCDb Trade....

are you living in a city where your post person walks around or in a rural sitting where the person is in a Vehicle. Because I just one delivered using Ebay and it was marked delivered today. I know that the post person has a scanners in their cars for my post off and my local post office. I have more issues where I see the package is to be delivered via their informed deliver but do not get it some times until three days after is shows there.
