To all my TCDB friends and fellow collectors. Once again, due to health issues, I must reluctantly take a break from activity on this site. My issues are affecting my mobility and ability to do some simple tasks. As much as I enjoy this hobby, and trading, I have had to decline several transactions, and now have closed myself to trades. All current trades have shipped, with exception of one, which was accepted, but now I am physically unable to fill. (I have been in contact with that trader).
This is a very sad time as I have enjoyed this hobby for over 55 years. Just a few days ago I joined the 800 trade group, and was looking to many more. Now I have trouble lifting monster boxes of cards, and even my 4" binders are becoming difficult to manage. This is a good time for those of you with massive collections to think about where the collection is going when you are done with it. I have no plan, for a collection that has about 600K cards in it.
Everyone here is great, I consider all of you my extended collector family. I will be on from time to time to look and see what's new, ask advice or perhaps one day get trading again. It's kind of up to the doctors and what they say and do for me. Hopefully I can return this summer to full activity as I wanted to finish some sets and was looking forward to 2024 Heritage cards.
