I've seen Altuve brought up a couple of times. Keep in mind, not every batter uses stolen signs. Some don't want them. We don't know (at least I haven't seen anything) which players did or did not make use of stolen signs.

I don't qualify to answer your question because I'm obviously (per self-proclamation) an Astros fan, but, no to the name change. I prefer Astros.
And, Mark, check out Altuve's 2017 home/away splits. Or Bregman's splits. They don't help your case.

Yeah, NO CASE, NO MERCY, they cheated and must be treated as cheaters. Cheaters get punished, I believe MLB does it's due diligence unlike the NFL.
ASTERISKS, , LMAO good one Mark.

I've heard a rumor that Carlos Beltran will be stepping down as manager of the New York Mets.

The talk today in Toronto is that Blue Jays former manager John Gibbons is interviewing today for the Astros vacancy. He was definitely a fan favorite during his two tours in Toronto, and pundits are saying he'd be a good fit in Houston to "right the ship" after so much recent turmoil.

Gibbons would be a VERY good choice for Houston I think. As long as I'm on here......to me this ranks right up there with the strike years back; I think it is going to hurt baseball. However, time heals a lot of things.
I kinda think MLB should go after players, but that may be too large of a task.

Houston can have him though I wish another team would be the ones to take him on as I like the Astros (even now as I am a believer that often as not, thinking you know what pitch is coming is as detrimaental to hitting as not knowing, hence the better record on the road). As manager here in Toronto, he really looked like he simply did not care about winning, both with his body language in the dug out and in the interviews with the media. The media liked him because he never argued or ridiculed them; he always had an open door for them.
His decision making on the field as to what players to play and when to pull a pitcher were poor at best and often catastrophic in games thee Blue Jays should have won. He failed in his first stint here; I could not believe it when they rehired him for a second go around.
The Yankees or the Red Sox is where I wish he had landed.

Cheaters get punished? Even if they're caught it still depends on who they are. Some have cheated in the past and since they are in good with the commish they get a slap on the hand. Others aren't liked as much and the penalties are like being choke slammed by Big Show. That's in multiple sports, obvious missed calls by refs - even after review- to sounds and signs that one team gets away with while other teams can't. No. Not all cheaters get punished. And calling Astros names is pointless. So maybe Hinch knew. What about guys like Brantley or Chirinos? What if they didn't? So haters are going to include them too???? You want to call them cheaters too?

I wonder how history will view the stars on these teams..and if enough doubt has been raised to elect Hof voters?
I do not think we really know which specific players cheated, regardless of their denial when asked repeatedly this coming season
