1975 TCMA 1942-1946 St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Forum

Could someone please tell me what the variation(s) is/are in these two cards? (The variation is not listed). The only difference I can tell is that (A) one card is whiter than the other and (B) the top of the letter "E" in Ernie on the front of the card is partially missing on one card. Thanks!

That's the only thing I can see, font size and location. I wouldn't put stock into the color as it just seems more aged/handled than intentional card stock color change. 

I did update all the VAR notes for the set seeing as they weren't entered for any of them. I didn't touch the White until others have a chance to chime in.

Bumping an old topic so we can close out a current IR. Are these legit VARs or do we need to merge them?

Doesn't look like a VAR. Just the red text slightly "out of register".  I'm sure at this time in TCMA's history they were not using sophisticated printing processes.

I have clarified the variations.  I have a feeling this set had at least a couple of print runs, which would account for a difference like that.
