Regarding cards 251 and 478, is there an easy way to tell the difference between the large and small print variants? The pictures of the cards on this site make it a bit difficult.

From what I can see, those top lines of the actual checklist are very close to the top border on the larger print versions while the smaller print has some room (more than the room under them).

Everyone seems to ignore CL # 378, as a variation. One is a STAR & one is an ASTRISK.

That's funny. I never looked that closely at the shape. I just knew that one was closer to the copyright information (asterisk) and one was further away (star).

Good call on the star / asterisk copyright symbol! Should card #378 be listed as two varieties?

Bump on the issue of card #378 plus... another reason to create another variation of that checklist...?
I’ve read that on the 4th Series Checklist (card #378), the asterisk in the copyright line is found a bit more to the left than on other examples. On some, it is directly below the ‘L’ and ‘O’ in Carlos; on others it is below the ‘O’ and ’S’. The one in my set is below the ‘O’ and ’S’. Does anyone have the other copy to confirm?

I'm not sure what the previous comment is referring to, but if anyone can help with my two inquiries I'm eager to learn more.

If you post images of the differences, it would help a lot. Just tlaking about them isn't going to get stuff done.

The spacing of the star and asterisk variations on #378 are different and each lines up differently under the player's name above it. I think there are just two variations of the card, but they are demonstrably different from each other.
