I just realized, when I was typing up a post for Cardboard History, that I completed every Nets base card from when they entered the NBA in 1976 through the 1989-90 season. That's a pretty major accomplishment...with over 94,000 different NBA cards it's the only team I've ever completed an entire decade of.
If it was not for the Panini stickers I would have 1990-91, 1991-92 and 1992-93 complete as well. But I have none of the stickers from those years....maybe someday.
I still have promos, inserts and parallels to chase from that time, but the base is done...honestly never thought I would be able to finish off an entire decade, and even more amazing is that some of the cards are actually older than I am! So it's not like I was able to collect them new.
The 1983-84 Star set were the last ones I needed...and they checked off three major milestones, although I only realized two at the time. To find out what the others are you'll have to wait for the post....(probably tomorrow)
VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.
