Starting Tackle: Gruber played in entire career with the Buccaneers from 1988-1999. He started all 183 games he played and made two Pro Bowls.

Starting Kicker: Bakken is a 4x Pro Bowler and part of the All-Decade Teams for the 1960's and 1970's in the NFL. Played his entire career with the St. Louis Cardinals from 1962 to 1978.

Starting Defensive End: Watt is already a 3x NFL Defensive player of the Year, 4x Pro Bowler, 76 career sacks and he's not even 30 year old yet! Hard to believe he was a walk-on at Wisconsin. He currently plays for the Houston Texans in 2017.

Starting Defensive End: Gregory wasn't flashy like most DL in the 70's but he played 10 years in the NFL with the Cowboys and Seahawks winning two Super Bowls with the Cowboys and recorded 2 INTs and recovered 6 fumbles.

Starting Defensive Tackle: Hayden does his job in the middle keeping offensive lineman off linebackers and at 6 foot 4, 300+ you can see why. Drafted by the Panthers in 2008 he has also played for the Bengals and Cowboys.

Starting Defensive Tackle: Davey was drafted by the Packers in the 3rd round in 1991. He went on to stuff runners for 7 years between the Packers and Jaguars. He recorded 8 sacks in his career.

Starting Linebacker: Levy has been a tacking machine in since he broke into the NFL in 2009. He recorded 151 tackles with the Lions in 2014 and has picked off 12 passes including six in 2013.

Starting Linebacker: Purnell was a solid linebacker with the Bears and Rams from 1964 through 1972. He was a bright spot on some very poor teams that he played for during his NFL career.

Starting Cornerback: Vincent was the definition of a shutdown corner. He had a great career playing with the Dolphins, Eagles, Bills and Redskins from 1992-2006. A 5x Pro Bowler while recording 749 tackles and 47 interceptions including a league leading 7 in 1999.

The reason Hirch is not on the list is because he played only his first two years with Wisconsin before transferring to Michigan. I stuck with players that finished their college careers with the Badgers before moving onto the NFL. Crazy Legs was amazing! |
