Home of the Time Travel Trading Project!

With a few exceptions, every card older than 2016 listed on my FS/T is part of my Time Travel Trading Project. The project goal is to get an older card than what I sent out. I provide monthly updates on my blog as well.

The following cards are part of the Time Travel Trading Project, but the sets are not yet listed on the TCDB:

  1. 1964 Ed-U-Cards Washington Senators Baseball Card Game #NNO Ball
  2. 1930 All-Fair Authors Card Game (non-sport) #13 Louisa May Alcott
  3. 1890 N245 Sweet Caporal Actors & Actresses (non-sport) #NNO Frankie Raymond

TCDB Trade Recap: Cards From Pierre, SD

Have you ever had a card that you saw so many times online that you swore you had it, only to find out you didn't? For the life of me, I swore I had almost all of the Red Sox related cards from the awesome Pinnacle subset "Idols". Turns out I didn't have any of them!  While trading away some spare 2023 Topps base to TCDB member named James, I made sure I knocked two of those off the old list.

Idols is such a fantastic idea for a subset. It gives the fans a glimpse into the people who inspired the players we followed. Where else would you find Jackie Gleason, Malcolm X, or Mike Bossy in a baseball card set?

Favorite Card: If you couldn't tell, I'm a fan of those Idols. However, I just got to give a shout out to that Bartolo Colon rookie card!

Thanks for the cards James!
