Saturday, October 1, 2022Set: 2006 Topps Wacky Packages All-New Series 4 - Magnets (Rate) “ If you are in your 50s, you know how impactful Wacky Packs were in the 1970s. Topps sold more of them for a period of time than any other product- including baseball cards. They were ubiquitous- stuck to school lockers, street signs, and notebooks. Friday, September 30, 2022Set: 2019 Choice West Virginia Power (Rate) “ No state was impacted more by Major League Baseball’s decision to reduce the number of its affiliates than West Virginia. The Power are now in the independent Atlantic League as the Charleston Dirty Birds. The West Virginia Black Bears, who play in a beautiful new park in Morgantown, had been a Pirates affiliate in the New York-Penn League. Now they’re relegated to the MLB Draft League. The other two teams, from the Appalachian League, Bluefield and Princeton, were relegated to collegiate summer leagues, one step above high school ball. Thanks, Rob Manfred. ” -Dave Sosidka

The sets consisted of players you won't be able to find any where else. For this particular card I like the picture on the front, and the detail on the back. “ i'll forgive it some because it isn't a main brand issue. You can't expect much from a card made by McDonald's. The front is just cluttered to me and the back is bland. Don't get me started on the paragraphs on the back. It reads like a 3rd grade report or they were having to pay per word so they just dropped words. If this was a name brand issue I would give it 3 out of 10, because it's not, I will give it a 5 out of 10. ” -davidhandberry
