If you look on eBay, these booklets are normally sold by individual player cards where one player is featured on the front and one player is featured on the back. Would it be possible to individualize these booklets into two sides cards? It's the same scenario as the Topps tattoos. I'd be more than happy to do all the work for the new checklist that would need to be made if it's ok.

I'm going to go right out on a limb and say no.
Just because sellers are doing this, doesn't mean it's right.
After all, I got this from a seller on Sportlots:

Although you can find them cut up that way, I don't think they should be listed that way. They actually have to be cut and aren't perforated or anything, correct?

PSA grades them as hand-cut. So if someone owns a graded card how would they catalog it here?

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

As long as the Booklet checklist stays. Not sure why anyone would cut them up. I have most of the sets complete, all in booklet format.

To be fair, PSA and the other graders will pretty much grade anything these days if you pay them. I don't think we use "PSA graded it" as a deciding factor in whether or not we list something. My argument would be that someone could do the same thing with the Topps Heritage Ad Panels that were made a few years ago.

If the booklets aren't perforated or have dotted lines to cut along, I think it's best to probably not list each player individually (or with the person on the reverse or whatever). If I had a hand cut version of Dave Parker / Tony Gwynn, for example, I would just add #6 to my collection and make a note that it was just those 2 players. If I then got Chili Davis / Dale Murphy, I'd add another #6 to my collection with a note. Or if I got the whole booklet, I would add another and either note that it's the whole booklet (or just leave the note blank because it isn't cut).
Basically, my point is that being able to add notes to cards in your collection is a great feature. And just because someone *can* cut up a card doesn't mean we have to create the checklist. I mean, we wouldn't list Delino Deshields & Jason Grimsley seperatly in 1990 Fleer just because someone *could* cut the card in half.
But that's just my 2 cents. I also don't think it would be truly detrimental to list the cut versions. I just don't think it's necessary or really all that benefecial to do so.

The 1984 Topps Sticker Dale Murphy example isn't a fair comparison to use for this set. There is no fold line on those cards whatsoever since they are completely flat. The General Mills booklets/panels have a very strong fold line since the booklets are folded on those lines so I'd consider them to be perforated lines. When I look on eBay for 1987 General Mills, the single individual cards defeated the panel/booklets by a margin of 51-42. When I look on Comc stats for all listings for 1987 Genral Mills, once again the single individual cards defeat & dominate the panels by a margin 23-5. When I look on Comc for all listings for 1984 Topps Stickers, the full 2 player cards win by a margin of 187-0 because the Dale Murphy single card Comc listing you referred to does not exist when I did a search of all active and sold listings. I have no idea what sort of top loader or plastic sheet would contain the entire booklet elongated in its entirety. They are normally folded up in storage and is the reason why they are cut up into individual cards because it's much simpler than a full booklet.
The stats speak for themselves. There is nothing more I can say to try and prove my point. In my eyes, the 1987 Genral Mills is just like any Hostess panel. That's my two cents. They might be only worth a cent since I'm not an expert.

"I'd consider them to be perforated lines"
So they're not actually perforated then, plus the set is called "General Mills Booklets". Anyone is welcome to cut them up but they don't appear to be designed with that in mind, but instead to fold up into booklets. That doesn't mean we should list them that way.

Your comparison is not the same. Granted, the Hostess cards have no perforation, however, they are individually numbered, indicating that they are indeed separate entities. These booklet cards have 1 number in one spot on them, not on each player duo, indicating that the numbered unit is it's own entity, which consists of 6 players.
I say that these should not be listed as cut up pieces.
Edit to add - I said I got the Murphy on Sportlots, not COMC.
