Trading:

Shipping: I prefer PWE trades to keep the cost of postage down, so I'll ship trades that way unless we discuss otherwise. Trading within the US only.

Condition I'm expecting: 1970s and earlier: EX-MT or better / 1980s: NM or better / 1990s to Now: Basically pack fresh (Holograms can be lower). I will sometimes accept lower condition cards (especially the older/rarer/shinier they are), so don't be afraid to ask/offer. But it's unlikely that I'll ever trade with someone again if I'm not alerted about any condition issues in advance.

Condition of my FS/T cards: I try to be very strict with the trades I trade away. However, I've recently started to add off-condition cards to get them in the hands of collectors who are less picky than me. If a card has a condition listed, I consider it flawed. (I use PSA's Grading Standards as a reference for conditions). If there's nothing noted, assume it's at least near-mint or better. I'm always happy to send pictures, too. Also, I haven't marked them, but essentially all of my Pokemon cards have wear on the back. I make a point of mentioning this when offering them for trade, but here's a heads-up for anyone considering sending me a trade offer for some.

My general trading philosophy: I tend to prefer trading cards 1:1, but I'm not against sending multiple cards to get one nicer card or vice versa (especially when you're trading for my off-condition stuff). I also stray away from trades that aren't worth the cost of postage. But I realize that what I think is or isn't worth a stamp might be different from you. At the end of the day, I'm just happy to send some cards I don't want to get some that I do without breaking the bank.
