- 1961 Topps Baseball. Dad found half the set at a Salvation Army when I was 9 (in the 60's) and now I have the complete set. Now I'm looking for variants and replacing my poorer-quality cards.

- Cal Ripken Jr. I have 886 different cards so far. Started back in '88.

- Mark McGwire. Yeah....I know. But I had over 400 different cards before his congressional testimony, so what the heck.

- Charlie Hough. I'm married to a Charlotte "Charly" Hough and was able to get the baseball player's autograph on a card for my wife, so I figured collect all his cards as well.

- Pro athletes named Mike Smith cards. I'm a Mike Smith, so there.
