Set: 1998 Circa Thunder (Rate)

Card: #37 Bobby Bonilla

“ 2019 Salaries: Bobby Bonilla - $1.19 million Ronald Acuña Jr - $1M Cody Bellinger - $605K Juan Soto - $578.3K ” -volbox

“ It's weird to me to see this set not called Z-Force. When the NBA set came out in 1997 I really thought it was great, but looking back on it I'm not that big of a fan of it. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Overall, a decent card. The action pictures on the front are nice, but the backgrounds are often too busy, and detract from the player's image. The backs are what makes the set standout. It is a different design that is graphically pleasing. Career stats would have been preferable to the OBP graph, but that seems a minor point. ” -georgecf

“ I didn't know he started his career with the White Sox just to be traded back to the Pirates...not that I could learn any of that from this card of course. ” -vanstryland

“ ThE mEtS sTiLl PaY hIm EvErY yEaR. ” -Tylergallo

“ Haven't heard of this one. Looks like a late 1990s Fleer Ultra or a Pacific brand. ” -captkirk42

“ I never hear anyone talk about what a good player he was, I only ever hear about what a bad contract the Mets gave him. This card is a little busy, but it's interesting at least. ” -jackal726

“ By no means a traditional baseball card , too much thunder , lightning and sparks not enough pure BB + lackluster stats =meh ! ” -baseballcardstoreca

“ A perfect example of 1990s inserts by Fleer/Skybox. But I have to say, I would happily pull this from a pack over some of the inserts released today. These were crazy and included cool info on the backs. ” -Corky

“ An obvious late 90s card. I feel a bit of nostalgia seeing all the computer generated graphics. ” -davidhandberry

Set: 2017 Topps Heritage (Rate)

Card: #258 Rockies 2017 Rookie Stars (David Dahl / Raimel Tapia)

“ Nice looking retro card but still the same issue. It's getting old. Try something new Topps. ” -davidhandberry

“ my first set that i have been trying to collect since jumping back in. So close.... so close. Not my favorite design of a card, but the simplicity of the photos is great. ” -parsley24

“ Two solid Rockies rookies. ” -vanstryland

“ Nice RETRO Heritage card. Wasn't David Dahl supposed to be one of those golden child players? ” -captkirk42

“ Everytime someone says David Dahl, I mentally confuse him with David Diehl. ” -royals

Set: 1994 Finish Line (Rate)

Card: #139 Jimmy Fennig

“ 1993 Leaf wants its design back. ” -ShoTime

“ The effects on this card reminds me of the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. ” -rmpaq5

“ This could be one of the worst cards I have ever seen. The awful photos, the dizzying background, the slanted writing. I am trying to find something nice to say and I can't find one redeeming quality. This card should be burned and anyone that worked on this card should be thrown in prison for crimes against humanity. ” -davidhandberry

“ Pro Set did racing too! Not just Hockey, Football, and Little Mermaid. Drivers' have directors? At least no frame-y borders. ” -baseballcardstoreca

“ It's amazing how many sets in this time period used this same basic design. More than one in the same season for NASCAR! I consider 1994 the best season for NASCAR cards although 1998 is my favorite season overall. Although Jimmy Fennig has retired from traveling to every track every week he's still involved in the sport today, being technical director of Roush Fenway Racing. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ So-so racing card in my book. Was Finish Line part of Press PASS? It looks very similar and is very simple. ” -captkirk42

“ Maybe if you were into racing, but not for me. This could be anything looking at the front. I wouldn't have been shocked if this was a set of news casters of the world, tennis coaches, random cards for people watching a horse race. A lot of wasted space in the bottom right too. ” -muskie027

Set: 1996 Pacific Crown Royale (Rate)

Card: #CR-79 Jason Dunn

“ I love this set. One of my favorite. ” -davidhandberry

“ He was never the same after the giant pretzel attack. ” -volbox

“ Pacific did some really nice cards, and someday soon there will be a boom/rush on them when many realize just how good their products were. ” -baseballcardstoreca

“ These are such cool cards in hand. Scanning them is not easy but nicely done here. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I feel like we had one of these recently. I like it better this time around. Does that mean this is growing on me? ” -muskie027

“ One of the great football products in the history of western civilization. ” -mkaz80

“ Too much crown doth not a royal card make. ” -CollectingAfterDeath

Set: 2011 Bowman Sterling (Rate)

Card: #21 Julius Thomas

“ The fronts of this card is nice enough. Everything you need but the back is boring and I don't know for certain but if this is like the baseball set, it has probably 10 parallels that water down my enthusiasm even more. ” -davidhandberry

“ Great scan of a chrome style card! ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Good looking card. ” -parsley24

“ Nice Highend card. At first look at the design I thought this was Topps Prime or Upper Deck Sweet Spot set. It took me a little while to see the team name, in hand I think it is clearer. Team logo would be nice on front. Back is pretty good except for the single season stats. Oh wait he's a Rookie, but still I think the set uses just one year even for vets. ” -captkirk42

“ Not bad at all. The design is a bit busy, but not in a bad way. I'm sure the front looks even better in-person than a scan can show. ” -spazmatastic

“ Really nothing I like except the player's name and position is easily(?) read. That's it. ” -beardogfarm

Set: 2017 Topps Star Wars Rogue One Series 2 - Movie Posters (Rate)

Card: #NNO Director Krennic Character Poster

“ Movie poster into a design is usually cool, but just a head (even with the Death Star blueprints projected on said face) isn't. Great actor, good character and I enjoyed Rogue One. ” -ShoTime

“ Not worthy of the coincidence list, but within a week or so, the podcast Star Wars Minute [discusses a minute of each of the Star Wars feature film releases in one episode of their podcasts] will begin their coverage of Rogue One. ” -stevejrogers

“ Nice Non-Sport card. ” -captkirk42

“ Welcome to more of the endless milking of 1 great movie Star Wars, obviously they never drew the line at 1 nor 2 or 3 ” -baseballcardstoreca

“ That is one great looking photo. I have never collected non sports cards but if I ever did Star Wars would probably be high up on my list and this card is one of that might sway me someday to sojourn into that space (pun intended). ” -davidhandberry

Set: 2008 Bowman Draft Picks & Prospects - Gold (Rate)

Card: #BDP23 Eric Hurley

“ I like the look of the front of Bowman cards and then it dies because I know this is one of probably a dozen parallels. Knowing that most of the "prospects" aren't going to amount to anything. Also I know when I turn it over it's going to be a hideous Bowman back. Please Topps take Bowman and try something new. I used to love the Bowman sets in the the early 90's. ” -davidhandberry

“ I am not a fan of these bowman cards. i know i like simple designs, but bruh.... ” -parsley24

“ His name is Hurley and he hurls fastballs. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ OK we just had a Bowman card as the Random Card of the Day.This one is marked with the Rookie Card logo indicating a Rookie. Front is OK I guess the design is kind to the image with the ball still in frame at the top pretty cool action shot. team logo would be nice but whatevers. Personally I think the player's name should be a little bigger than the team name but again whatevers. back is nice and in this case only one year of stats are OK for a rookie, however adding minor league stats would be nice as well. ” -captkirk42

“ I have no idea who this is. I guess Hurley wasn't a very effective hurler. ” -beansballcardblog

“ Blah! ” -Coccia

“ Dear Topps , please stop making these types of cards where we pay good $$ for low quality, easily chipped colors/borders especially after that 2007 remake of 1971. I just want mint cards!!! ” -baseballcardstoreca

Set: 2003 Bowman Draft Picks & Prospects - Gold (Rate)

Card: #BDP13 Lyle Overbay

“ Nice card front but I never have cared for Bowman backs. ” -davidhandberry

“ not too bad of a design. The back is clean and fresh. ” -parsley24

“ I will let others complain about the numbering of Bowman as I have done that enough. ” -NJDevils

“ 2000s Bowman drives me nutty with the BDP numbering. It took me 10+ years to figure out that the DP numbers were Draft Prospects. I still can't find some players easily are they Rookies or Minor League prospects that haven't even played a single game are they in the BDP list or the BDPP list? or BDDP or the regular base set without all the letters? Why does one crumby set have 4 or 5 Extended Sets? OK back to the look of the card the front design is OK but missing team name, team logo would be nice. Back Needs more years of stats OK if these guys are rookies then give their college stats Don't like the back picture. ” -captkirk42

“ Overbay was a solid player. ” -Tylergallo

“ He had a couple decent years. Card is ok. ” -muskie027

“ Honestly a pretty cool action shot. Really like the signature box and how it wraps around the 1B. ” -Athletics37

Set: 1968 Topps (Rate)

Card: #38 Ralph Baker

“ This almost looks like a painting. It decent looking for it's time but still a lackluster front to me. Has all the info you want but nothing that stands out. The back though is the complete opposite. I loved the cartoons back in the day and getting a bit more knowledge about the player. It is funny to imagine today that professional athletes had to have side jobs only a little over 50 years ago. Now that would be unthinkable even for most minor leaguers. ” -davidhandberry

“ Oh man that is sweet. The New York Jets Green uniform in its full glory, great vintage card. ” -alessandro11

“ Love the vintage cards !! ” -uncaian

“ Love it! ” -NJDevils

“ Great set... Great card ” -parsley24

“ Nice Vintage Football. Typical pose for this pose. ” -kirkscards

“ Love REAL vintage. I also like the modern retro cards but vintage is 1,000s of times better. Ralphie Boy. Love the cartoon on the back. Also love that it mentions his off-season job. Back in the day players were NOT millionaires and had to take on a second job to make ends meet. ” -captkirk42

“ Good scan. The 1960s--terrible, terrible cards. Fun to collect but ugly. ” -cjjt

“ The front is great. Classic. Clearly can read player name, team and position as it should be. The back is just ok. I like statistics by year. Overall, a great classic card. ” -BSwagger

Set: 2008 JOGO - Rookies (Rate)

Card: #14-R Jamal Robertson

“ Never heard of JOGO before but this is a nice looking set. I like the front border, nice action shot. Wish it had the team name and position but besides that it is very well done. The back is near perfection for a football card. I know many will hate not having stats but in football where every position is different I don't mind it as much. ” -davidhandberry

“ That's a very art deco styled font for his name and jersey. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Not a good idea to work on the name font after having a liquid lunch ” -NJDevils

“ Nice card. Haven't seen it since it is CFL card. I sort of recall hearing the name/brand JOGO perhaps from seeing some here in the database. ” -captkirk42

“ Never heard of JOGO, but this is a decent card. ” -muskie027

“ CFL! Awesome! ” -rmpaq5

“ Never a big Canadian Football Fan just reminded me of organised High School Football. Canadian Football Cards some are very rare. Warren Moon's Rookie is one of my favorite Canadian pieces and also one of the hardest to get a solid grade on it took 4 years to get an 8 and just last year I received my order from PSA and to my delight a 10! I turned a $8.00 Raw Rookie into a card that fetch upwards of $16,000.00 to $22,000.00!!! Now I know his 85 Topps in a PSA 10 can fetch upwards of $37,000.00 to $64,000.00 according to 1/1 Cards & Coins. I am still in shock because it is by far the most expensive card I have ever owned. God Bless ” -The House Of Cards
