Set: 2008 Score - Super Bowl XLIII Light Blue Glossy (Rate)

Card: #318 Alge Crumpler

“ I like everything about this. Great card! ” -Billy Kingsley

“ At first I was going to say I didn't like this card but then I noticed the symmetry between the front and back and I really like that. ” -davidhandberry

“ This is one one 13 different parallel sets. ” -carthage44

“ As tired as I am of this Score set design, it actually looks good with this Titans blue parallel. ” -captkirk42

“ Way too much. I am confused. Super Bowl 43 was Pitt and Ari. Did Crumpler ever play in a Super Bowl? Why is this called Super Bowl 43 Glossy. ” -muskie027

“ Dark scan. I'm not a big fan of these Super Bowl XLIII sets. I own the plain Score 2008 set. ” -cjjt

Set: 2005 Playoff Prestige - Prestigious Pros Orange (Rate)

Card: #PP-19 Robin Yount

“ I didn't realize this insert has been around this long. It's been in three NBA for a while now too. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Back looks a lot better than the front and that's sad to say since there is no picture on the back! I don't think we need half of a card showing which team he played for. ” -KMack

“ I like this card. I have never seen these before but hopefully I can pick up a few of them in the future. ” -davidhandberry

“ I knew that had these in football but not in baseball. ” -carthage44

“ What a guy, still playing in 2005. ” -NJDevils

“ Oh great, a base card that is essentially created for jersey/auto parallels. A complete an utter waste. The creativity and novelty of "inserts" basically died with the advent of relic and auto cards. ” -mkaz80

“ No sir, I don’t like it. Love Yount though. ” -muskie027

“ Am I missing something? Besides being SN'd to 500, is there something special about this card? Its so boring I expect there to be an Auto or MEM item somewhere. Great player but not a very interesting card. ” -cnangle

“ This is an insert set I was not aware of, and they have about a dozen different versions of it by color. I do not like it at all. It looks more like something you would use as the title for a divider card in your storage box. ” -captkirk42

“ Weird card. I don't like it. The giant BREWERS really seems out of place. ” -switzr1

Set: 1991 Topps Micro (Rate)

Card: #780 Randy Myers

“ I saw one of these in person in January for the first time- I didn't truly appreciate how tiny these were until then. They are pretty cool though. I almost bought one just for the novelty of it. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Too bad the best part of the front is the 40 year logo. ” -KMack

“ Two days recently with micro cards. I actually have this complete set. This is like most Topps base sets. Nothing exciting but nothing really wrong. Plain white border. But I don't like the unusual sizes. I have a special drawer for all my odd sized cards but when all my other cards are in folders it seems like a waste. ” -davidhandberry

“ "Nooooo, you forgot to turn off the mini machine!" "That's ok. We'll just call 'em 'micros' and the suckers will eat those up, too!" "And then we can release them in different colors?" "Now you're getting it." ” -Vvvergeer

“ Reminds me of Micro Machines! ” -carthage44

“ Absolutely zero love for this set. ” -NJDevils

“ I never saw the point of Topps Micro, other than trying to get people to buy another product during the Boom Era. ” -olerud363

“ Calling this set "Micro" is now considered a politically incorrect term. They like to be classified as "Little Cards". ” -YoRicha

“ I love when the USPS does a baseball series of postage stamps, like a few years back with Stargell/Williams/Dimaggio/Doby. But I don't care much for cards the size of postage stamps. ” -kents_stuff

“ Loved this little set back in the day.....love 1991 Topps in general. The level of detail on the cad backs amaze me still. ” -tbshaw

“ always like the base set, never knew there was a mini version before ” -Thunderfoot

“ I was so annoyed at how many cards from my factory set were missing or badly miscut. Not too hard to find replacements online, but shouldn't have been necessary. ” -dilemma19

“ Great set for tiny fingers. ” -vrooomed

“ UGH MICRO CARDS! OK back in the day nice idea to pop into a box of Cracker Jack but to make a FULL set of these things pretty annoying. ” -captkirk42

“ If i buy a pack from the junk era, i guarantee you i will pull a randy myers. I am starting to get into the whole Micro cards ” -parsley24

“ Worst idea. Terrible. Made for 5 year-olds?? ” -cjjt

“ So cute and small! I will still grab any Tiger of these size cards I don't have, but man what a pain to store! Best I can come up with for those that collect this size and try and build the set is the 12 pocket pages that fit late 40s early 50s Bowman Cards and Topps 1951s. ” -rmpaq5

Set: 1990 Target Dodgers (Rate)

Card: #442 Leron Lee

“ This a concept I wish every team in every sport did. From what I've read on the card blogs, where the Dodgers are the most popular team, every player in team history got a card in this set, at least those up until 1990. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I really like this set, and wish one like this existed for the Cardinals. ” -switzr1

“ At first I was confused as to why such an obscure Dodger would be in a 1990 Target set. Then I looked up the set and it appears to be a history of the Dodgers of some sort, as there are 1,095 cards in the set. The card isn't the greatest, but the concept for the set seems cool if I am understanding it right. ” -muskie027

“ Love oddball stuff like this. ” -702tpr777

“ Didn't know Target was in the game so early on. ” -carthage44

“ I like oddball cards such as this. It is weird that Target came out with a whole set of over 1,000 cards for the Dodgers and they couldn't make a set for any other teams. ” -davidhandberry

“ Do you know how many cards are in this set ? Over a thousand !!! They are nothing to write home about . Did Target stores actually give them out ? ” -uncaian

“ Interesting set. I like the throwback aspect of it. But the design and back have a lot to be desired. ” -cjjt

“ Never saw these before. Pretty neat. ” -NJDevils

“ I am sure all the Leron Lee Collectors are excited. ” -kirkscards

“ Interesting card. I have to admit that I'm surprised he played over 600 games with the Dodgers over four years. If I you had asked me to name Dodger outfielders in that time I'd have guessed Dusty Baker, Rick Monday, Reggie Smith, Lee Lacy...heck, Manny Mota. I don't think I ever equated Leron Lee with the Dodgers. ” -kents_stuff

“ meh. Not a fan. ” -parsley24

“ Nice Oddball card. ” -captkirk42

“ This is way too cluttered ” -Bargunmaster

Set: 2015 Topps Mini (Rate)

Card: #321 Josh Hamilton

“ The 2015 design was cool. Almost had me collecting baseball... ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Look at that, Topps. You've got complete career stats, with room for a blurb about the player, and you could probably throw a Twitter account in white on that black line on the back. And all on a mini card! ” -Vvvergeer

“ I love the backs of these! The front isn't bad and I think it's one of Topps' better border designs in recent years. The card has every bit of info I want to see on the front and back of a card. And it has an (apparently) un-altered photo on the front. I've got nothing bad to say about this card/set. ” -spazmatastic

“ Really like these cards. Good size photo on the front, nice colors at the bottom. ” -KMack

“ One would wonder what his career would have been if he could have stayed clean. ” -carthage44

“ I've always liked the 2015 Topps design. ” -olerud363

“ I was going to say it was a good looking card. I liked this design for 2015, finally getting away from the white borders that Topps had for years. THEN, I noticed it is Topps Mini, another pointless parallel. I like Josh Hamilton, one of the most tragic figures in recent memory. Number 1 draft pick, to flop, to MVP, back to flop. ” -davidhandberry

“ why Topps makes minis I don't know. Seems unnecessary and silly to me. ” -DarkSide830

“ i am starting to like the mini cards. Its just a me thing though. ” -parsley24

“ The only knock I have against this set is how many meaningless variations there are of 1 card !!! Nice front , nice back - great looking cards , just too many variations. ” -uncaian

“ OH regular Topps no wait it's the mini. 2015 I like the design OK but there is something about it that disturbs me that I haven' quite pinned down yet. It is partly do with the pattern in the border I think that is too busy. ” -captkirk42

“ Nice mini hamilton... ” -TradingCards964

“ It's like a baseball card. Except it's mini. ” -mkaz80

“ As a Ranger fan, seeing Hamilton in anything Angels-related makes me angry. I felt betrayed when he left Texas. However, these cards also make me laugh a bit because Arte Moreno is the king of terrible contracts, which I am perfectly fine with. ” -mycardboardhabit

“ nice card design, woulda liked to see football in this set design ” -Thunderfoot

“ Never collected the mini's, but I really liked the look of he 2015 Topps set. Hamilton was a good player. ” -muskie027

Set: 2017-18 Upper Deck - Centennial Standouts (Rate)

Card: #CS-35 Rod Brind'Amour

“ Current season card, kind of unusual to come up as Card of the Day. This insert could have been great, but fell short. It is celebrating the NHL's 100th anniversary but does not include the 100 greatest players that the NHL put the list out of in January 2017. That's disappointing to me. Maybe it will continue in Series 2 and get them all in? It seems like the early days never appear on cards...maybe there's a lack of pictures? Even if it was disappointing, I got my first card of a 30s player so it's not a total loss. (Eddie Shore of the Bruins) ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Nice looking card. Really like the 100 year logo. Not too fond of the 1989-90 - 09-10 text though. They could have shortened that up I think. ” -KMack

“ It seemed like he played 100 years ” -switzr1

“ Nice turnaround, a week. This isn't a bad card I guess, but hockey isn't my thing so I doubt I'd get it. ” -jupiterhill

“ Great insert set from Upper Deck celebrating 100 years of NHL history. Plus Brind'Amour is always collectible in my book especially in Hurricanes colors. ” -Gunny

“ He was stud with the Flyers in the 90's. ” -carthage44

“ One of my favorite Flyers when he was in Philadelphia. Even though the same picture is used on the back of this insert, I like how it is used (it doesn't take up any real estate on the back, it's just a background). Pretty solid card of a very solid player. ” -vrooomed

“ "Rod the Bod" nice card ,great player , so happy when he finally won the Stanley Cup. ” -uncaian

“ Nice insert card. The design at the top looks like it is a die-cut but it isn't. Only real complaint about front is the centennial 100 logo being big and in a weird place. ” -captkirk42

“ Nice card of a great player. ” -dilemma19

“ Brrr. ” -RoundtheDiamond87

“ i love his name. Loosely means strand of love. Literally Rod "strand of love" ” -parsley24

“ Cards without stats on the back are worthless to me. Insert or not, I prefer stats. And full stats at that. ” -NJDevils

“ Wow, this card was uploaded exactly one week ago! We had one within the month last week. This has got to be one of the "newest" RCOTD ever! ” -rmpaq5

“ Why do I always seem to miss the Topps baseball? ” -jayoneill

Set: 2004 Donruss - Diamond Kings (Rate)

Card: #DK-9 Jeff Bagwell

“ That's a lot of gold. I am not a fan of this card. ” -muskie027

“ I like the Diamond Kings normally. My only problem is that the background should be a different color than the trophy. Grew up watching many Houston Astros games and will always have a soft spot for the Killer Bs. Bagwell, Biggio, and Berkman. ” -davidhandberry

“ Colour Combination....yuck! ” -rmpaq5

“ He is a King of the Diamond. ” -carthage44

“ Diamond kings are the thing that has kind of always intrigued me. Like Topps gallery. Half the time i am reminded of "Monkey Jesus" (Google it if you dont know) the other half i am blown away by the artistry. ” -parsley24

“ Not the greatest Diamond Kings set, but a good old real Donruss DK set. Panini is stinking on the DK sets lately. ” -captkirk42

“ That's a whole lot of yellow! Luckily, yellow is my second favorite color currently so I like it. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ If the pic was any smaller you'd have a great postage stamp. ” -NJDevils

“ Was that a picture taken at Olan Mills? ” -beansballcardblog

“ Nope. Sorry. ” -RoundtheDiamond87

“ Good ” -ZRK92

“ Bags!!!! Loved watching him play! And very happy he's in the Hall! ” -Joshua825

Set: 2005-06 Hoops - HoopScripts (Rate)

Card: #HS-RM Rashad McCants

“ Nice! This was the last issue of Hoops under the Fleer/Skybox aegis- they went out of business shortly thereafter. The Hoops brand is owned by the NBA and was brought back in 2011-12 with Panini. I did get to see him play but most of his career was spent while I was away from the sport for 5 seasons- now something I consider one of if not the biggest mistakes of my life. Those T-Wolves jerseys were the best. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Hey, my first card of the day! McCants lasted four years in the NBA and his career was over at age 24. But his autograph looks like Run DMC, so that's cool. ” -bevans

“ The on card auto is the only thing that is good about this card. ” -carthage44

“ Looks like a candy wrapper or a for a bar of soap. ” -NJDevils

“ Can they use the word "hoops" one more time ” -parsley24

“ Nice auto card. ON Card? Extra cool if so. On the back instead of congratulating the collector on getting an autographed card, I think they should have a brief career overview (or career highlights) of the player. ” -captkirk42

“ This is a good looking card. Well balanced. If I was to change anything I would want the team logo larger and Hoops Scripts logo smaller. If they were switched around, I would love this card. ” -cnangle

“ Prime example of why I have no interest in autographs. Someone's initials is not an autograph. ” -C2Cigars

“ I wonder if he signs his checks like this... ” -rmitchell6700

“ Not bad, a pretty cool looking auto. ” -muskie027

“ I think the sideways autograph card is the way to go. There's plenty of room for a nice picture and the autograph isn't right on top of the photo of the player. Also you can put half of the card in white like this one is here and the autograph stands out more. ” -TheToddFather21

“ I'm not into basketball, but I can say that I like that design. ” -beansballcardblog

Set: 2014 Topps - Power Players (Rate)

Card: #PP-38 Sean Burnett

“ Nothing too exciting here. 2014 design was ok. I feel like I entered some of these codes, but I didn't win anything. ” -switzr1

“ I wonder if anyone won anything? I doubt it. ” -carthage44

“ And this is what? A game card? Contest card? Not a fan of whatever it is. Any card that has a limited code to enter on the card maker's website I have always disliked. ” -captkirk42

“ Ahh, back when Topps still had complete statistics on the back. ” -RoundtheDiamond87

“ Not a lot of modifications needed to make this a really good card. I like it. I wasn't back to collecting in 2014, so I am not quite sure what was going on in the back of the card. ” -muskie027

“ Typical Topps card front from this era. White border, too close picture so you can't see the action, faded background. This is why I hate that Topps basically has a monopoly in baseball. Then the back I hate even more. I hate, hate, hate redemption cards. At least this one the front is usable. I have I don't know how many redemption cards that I bought the pack too late and have an expired redemption card. Put the card in the pack or don't have an expiration date. ” -davidhandberry

Set: 2016 Score (Rate)

Card: #297 Jared Cook

“ Wow it finally happened, I have a scan featured as RCotD! This Score set was one of my first exposures to new cards as I was getting back into the hobby in early 2016. I liked the design a lot with its clean, simple look. I ended up putting it together and I think it was my first completed set in 2016. I have good memories with this set. ” -ketchupman36

“ Los Angeles Rams. What a joke. One of the many reasons I don't watch the NFL. ” -switzr1

“ A really recent card for RCOTD. And on a day where they RCOTD is from the 1800's. I like the recent Score football sets. They have a nice look and are an affordable good looking set for collectors. I just wish the Panini backs weren't so bad. These had potential if they would just use a different picture and give you full stats. ” -muskie027

“ As much as I hate that Panini has the exclusive for football cards. They do a good job with Score. ” -captkirk42

“ Nicely designed card front. If I collected football I would really like this set. Front has everything you could want in a card. Back doesn't but I'm sure lots of people will complain about it so I won't. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I miss Score for baseball, but if this is the kind of designs they are putting out, maybe it's for the best. Too much white. Same photo on the front and back. Weird way of putting the photo on the front. Just all around blah card. ” -davidhandberry

“ He had the huge catch with the Packers a few years ago. ” -carthage44

“ clean cut and sleek. picked up a handful of packs of these in 2016. i do like a set with college players. ” -DarkSide830

“ Same picture front & back. Too much blank space. Junk. ” -cjjt

“ Underwhelmed. Not a bad looking card, but just not catching my eye. And for the love of God, why use the same photo on the front and the back. As a major card company.... shame on you. ” -parsley24

“ zzzzzzZZZZzzzzz.... ” -beansballcardblog

“ Nice design, the white borders are a little too big though. I guess you can't expect much from a Score base set though. ” -bigsmooth

“ Nice clean card, and i always like action shots. Sometimes cards depend too much on the colours of the team, but the Rams navy blue makes this one very nice to look at. ” -Ratsdm
