Set: 1999 Decipher Star Wars CCG Endor (Rate)

Card: #NNO Wicket

“ The entire world has a love/hate relationship with Ewoks. They may seem "cute and cuddly", but remember they were planning to cook and eat Luke, Han and Chewbacca. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Great BBQs! 5 stars great service. Will visit again. The in house entertainment was phenomenal and very chill. A real celebratory vibe. Wookies dont live on endor!!!!! ” -parsley24

“ I love these sets as a mega super Star Wars fan, but I gotta say, the DB checklists for these are a complete mess. Someday I'll get to fixing them, or at least letting someone better than me know what it is that needs fixed. ” -Brimose

“ Look at the cute little Ewok. Not sure how I never heard there was a Star Wars card game. ” -rich1516

“ Ewoks are cool. I like to think of them as koala bears on steroids. May the force be with this card. ” -CollectingAfterDeath

“ Star Wars CCG, TCG whatever. Nice looking card. Back very plain even for a CCG card. I have a soft spot for The Ewoks long story short during my college days I majored in broadcasting and DJ'd on the school's radio station as "The Ewok". ” -captkirk42

“ I love Ewoks. They're adorable and pretty much the best part of Return of the Jedi. Like the design of this card, although grey on grey is a little strange. Overall, very sweet. ” -Soarin22

“ Gearge Luckas' answer to Magic the Gathering doesn't fool a single Bill Gates out there. This not the game that the rich Hollywood elite is looking for. Try selling these cards to a baby. Even he would rather open a pack of Bounty Quilted Picker Upper - and I like Star Wars, I really do! ” -ganondorf666

“ Don't know much about Star Wars, but I like the creature on the card. ” -BasketbalHQ

“ One of the longest tenured members of the Endor Ewoks. As it says, didn't hit for power and wasn't even a great overall player. Not sure why his stats are not on the back of the card, though--I'd like to see if he stayed over the Mendoza line during his career. ” -kents_stuff

“ Interesting. I never knew they made cards for ewoks ” -dollar guy

“ Who didn't LOVE the Ewoks? ” -muskie027

Set: 2018-19 Panini Dominion (Rate)

Card: #46 James Harden

“ If there was ever a player who let success go to his head, it was him. I was a huge fan when he was with OKC, but once he got traded to Houston, I slowly but surely became less of a fan, and while I don't actively root against him (unless vs the Nets, Knicks or Warriors) I don't root for him anymore either. That's not to say he's not incredibly talented- he's in the running for MVP every single season, and he did deserve it the year he won...but not the other two years where he complained incessantly about not winning. Dominion is, I think, one of those $400 packs. I'm so estranged from modern Panini stuff that I didn't even realize they were still making it. It looks pretty generic for something that costs as much as a car payment. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who, now, is the mostest bearded one of all? ” -CollectingAfterDeath

“ James "Can" Harden "Lee C. Thiscard" ” -ganondorf666

“ I love modern Panini designs. Though I like Excalibur better, this one is nice ” -BasketbalHQ

“ Way too empty. ” -kents_stuff

“ Panini has some great fronts on cards. ” -muskie027

Set: 2016 Choice El Paso Chihuahuas (Rate)

Card: #19 Casey McElroy

“ The Padres minor league team! I like the design. ” -BasketbalHQ

“ What an awesome logo! And a cool camo jersey. This card is spectacular! ” -Billy Kingsley

“ The chunk of white i assume was for autographs. If thats the case cool, otherwise, that is a design flaw. Good card 6/10 ” -parsley24

“ "¡Yo quiero Taco Bell!" ” -CollectingAfterDeath

“ Not bad except for the useless transparent stripe. ” -Phil

“ Amazing team name and logo. I'm sure I won't be the only person to say that about this card ” -Brimose

“ "The Human Chihuahua" ” -ganondorf666

“ Decent card design, but again with the single photo front/back?! I like stripe which I presume was for autographs--either special inserts or to have a guy sign the card in person. I am not familiar with the team, but I love the logo. I might recommend they change it to the "Fightin' Chihuahuas", though. (I'm not so hot on the uniform design, though.) ” -kents_stuff

“ Looks like the stripe on the bottom is for an auto. ” -muskie027

“ Like the logo .That is cool. That creativity is missing in the MLB . With the alphabet soup logos. Only the Orioles and Jays use a real logo. Some other clubs use one on the sleeve like the Padres. Nice card btw. ” -ericidol1984

Set: 2019-20 O-Pee-Chee Platinum - Arctic Freeze (Rate)

Card: #61 Brock Nelson

“ Quite a few OPC cards in the past couple weeks. I really like this card though ” -BasketbalHQ

“ I bet these look pretty cool in hand! Happy to see a "local" team even if it's not my favorite local team. I think they might come out of the East this year. I thought the Flyers were the favorite but the Islanders are making short work of them- up 3-1 in the series at the time of this writing. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ OPC Platinum would be the hockey set I would collect, if I had a place where I could buy hockey cards. Everything I see looks awesome. ” -switzr1

“ Hmm coincidence that the Islanders are doing well in the post-season? That business aside nice looking card Parallel? Probably since it is serial numbered but not necessarily. ” -captkirk42

“ Extremely nice card. Dare I say "refreshing"? ” -NJDevils

“ This would be a really cool card if it weren't for using the same picture on the front and back ” -IfbBirdsCards

“ I like the design of this card. One of the things I like about O-Pee-Chee is that they have the yearly stats of players. ” -Brendan Barrick

“ I like the back, but the front doesn't do much for me. And, as always, I hate having the same photo used front and back. ” -kents_stuff

“ I really like this background. ” -muskie027

Set: 1983 Fleer Star Stickers (Rate)

Card: #14 Pete Vuckovich

“ My father in law pitched against him in college. Not bad for a sticker. ” -muskie027

“ With Hrabosky and Fingers, one of the all-time-great baseball mustaches. I think Pete was better than he was given credit for back in the day, but he made it to at least one WS if not a couple. Oh, yeah...too much wall in this photo. ” -kents_stuff

“ Al Hrabrosky wanna be. ” -kirkscards

“ Carnival game, Hit the little star with a thrown ball from 60 feet and win a stuffed animal. ” -abide

“ This guy should be on that bowling alley brawler list... ” -parsley24

“ Not a huge fan. Is it just me or does it feel like the picture is a little too low compared to the frame? ” -BasketbalHQ

“ Sure looks like the 80s. ” -dollar guy

“ Pete played Haywood in the movie Major League. He says my favorite line in the movie when he steps into the batters box and asks Taylor "How's your wife and my kids?" Funny movie! ” -cckeith

“ I like this one a lot. ” -switzr1

“ AKA Clu Howard ” -bpaul14

Set: 2000 Finest (Rate)

Card: #43 Brian Daubach

“ I bet this looks awesome in hand. ” -muskie027

“ Nice finest card. I'm not sure there has ever been a Finest set I didn't like. ” -switzr1

“ Hey, a kid from my hometown on RCotD! Cool. I'm not familiar with this set, so I'm not sure if I would think that baseball and background would look cool or garish in real life. The back is a little reminiscent of early Score baseball sets to me, and I'm not really saying that as a complement. ” -kents_stuff

“ Topps does a good job with finest design, usually, but I think that this is my least favorite Finest design ” -abide

“ Nice looking card except for the giant baseball that's about to crush him! ” -Gator415

“ I'm somewhat of an old-fashioned guy. I think that a baseball should be white. ” -Phil

“ The back is much better than the front . . . It looks like Indiana Jones trying to outrun the boulder . . . That is likely the case only for this particular card, but the use of the giant baseball as a background jut doesn't work well . . . The back, though, looks really nice . . . ” -georgecf

“ I like this card. Nice picture, nice design ” -BasketbalHQ

Set: 1993 Conlon Collection TSN (Rate)

Card: #705 Ray Caldwell

“ After nearly 30 years, I still don't really know what to say about the Conlon cards. The design is clean but unimpressive. But I love the B&W photos of players who died long before the set was even made. The backs may seem plain, but they have every single bit of info you could wish for on the back of a baseball card! ” -spazmatastic

“ Love the Conlon Collection. ” -kirkscards

“ Ray ran out of hydration making spitballs with the spitballers so he Caldwell to ask them to fetch a few buckets of water. ” -ganondorf666

“ I personally like this design. ” -BasketbalHQ

“ I like this card especially the full stats on the back. ” -Brendan Barrick

“ Conlon photography is awesome. I really love the original Conlon cards because they featured the photographs only. I wish these had smaller borders and text so the photography would really shine. ” -bpaul14

“ Very basic card. Nice picture. Spitballer! ” -cjjt

“ Somewhat of a coincidence that this card is opening for comments a few days after the anniversary of his getting struck by lightning and completing the game. These cards are very meh and is in desperate need of some color. ” -IfbBirdsCards

“ This is the one crazy-large set that I really like and wouldn't mind working to collect. I love the vintage photos of players whom I have never heard of, like this guy. Now the stats from 1910 mean nothing to me relative to my 1967-2020+(?) lifetime. But this dude got struck by lightning on the mound? How have I not heard that story?!?! ” -kents_stuff

“ Always felt like these sets were duds as a kid but I have a far greater appreciation for them as an adult. Design is still godawful, but the photography and facts can be great. Love the scoreboard peeking over the fence. And how often will you see a set dedicated to spitballers? ” -crimnos2

“ Conlon Collection Is among my favorite sets ever. And we got a spit baller too. I guess "juicing" wasn't a new concept in the 1960s. ” -switzr1

“ This son of a gun completed 31 of the 36 games he started in 1915. And he had a sub-3 ERA. Today if a pitcher goes 6 innings and gives up 3 runs we call it a "gem." ” -mkaz80

“ A little bland unless it is cooler in hand. ” -muskie027

“ Not a bad card if you are a fan of this type of set. ” -Phil

Set: 1994-95 Fleer (Rate)

Card: #322 Pat Durham

“ I don't remember this guy. I was big into basketball cards back then, but I just don't remember this name. Great set, by the way. ” -switzr1

“ I have always been a huge fan of this set. The colorful foil splash behind the player's name was a design element that really worked for me. It doesn't translate well to a scan, but in hand it's really nice looking. Pat Durham is a really obscure player. He had less than five cards and everything I know about him comes from the cards, I never saw him play or heard any stories about him. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ The look of the front design is OK except the execution of it is very poor. These things are typical 1990s cards that stick together and tend to Brick. UGH. The chrome/foil lettering makes it hard to read the player name sometimes even the team. Back would be better if the starts were horizontal not vertical. ” -captkirk42

“ If you want a tender holiday meat you gotta pat dur-ham. ” -ganondorf666

“ ok card ” -baylors

“ Pretty bland card. Never heard of the player ” -BasketbalHQ

“ Decent card layout with good photos. I wish one were a home jersey and one away, but still nice. Player's name and team are well legible thanks to that splash of black background in the corner. Not sure of a longer name would get lost in the photo or not, but it works here. ” -kents_stuff

“ The front design isn't terrible, but the name could benefit from a white border to stand out from the black smear, or whatever that is. The back screams '90's, though. ” -IfbBirdsCards

“ Pretty decent looking card with nice photography. Could use a little more color. ” -Phil

“ the old t wolves logo is a thing of beauty. The current logo not so much. ” -ericidol1984

“ I have fond memories of this set - no real memories of this player though. I've always loved sets from back when they made cards of even the most obscure bench player - except for rookies, they don't do that near often enough these days. I'm sure I still have a couple 5000 count boxes full of these -- hopefully they aren't all stuck together! ” -trauty

“ I wish I hadn't exited the hobby for these mid 90's years. This has a nice front. ” -muskie027

Set: 1997 Pinnacle X-Press (Rate)

Card: #97 Michael Westbrook

“ Oh Henry! ” -althib

“ Looks like he's throwing a pass to himself. Pretty funny. I kind of want this card in my football album. ” -switzr1

“ I like the nice action shot in the front. ” -kirkscards

“ Cool photo, but it took me awhile to realize the smaller photo of him was not the one throwing the pass. Not a bad card. ” -parsley24

“ nice looking action shot on the front...almost looks like he's throwing the ball to himself! ” -Gator415

“ I like the in-action pictures on cards, though I don't like the mini version of the player on the card. Take that out, get rid of the black on the side, and just have the picture, I would happily collect this card. ” -BasketbalHQ

“ Very cool skins card. Excellent front photo(s) Name is OK but could be larger, team name and logo would be nice. Set brand should be much smaller. Back pretty decent. I would make the photo smaller so the bio could be a bit larger and have some more info. I forget if I have this card or not, if not I need it. ” -captkirk42

“ This is an ok design. ” -Brendan Barrick

“ ive always enjoyed this set ” -Thunderfoot

“ it looks blury ” -baylors

“ Michael Westbrook, making this pass is the pinnacle of x-pressing yourself in the hobby. Do you even need a playbook to play football? Keep in touch. ” -ganondorf666

“ Are those two pictures of Westbrook? Looks like he is throwing the ball to himself. I like this for some reason, looks cool. ” -muskie027

“ Great pictures! ” -cjjt

Set: 1998 Pacific Online (Rate)

Card: #242 Greg Colbrunn

“ I was a huge Pacific fan at the time but still never liked the design of this set. It didn't stop me from collecting the base set, red parallel, & gold web parallel sets. I did love that this set included pretty much every active player on each team's roster as of early June 1998 (25 players per team). ” -trauty

“ That's a bright flashy card! Something that definitely catches the eye......might have to look into that set! ” -Gator415

“ Cards like this frustrate me because i cant think of anything positive to say. . Gross card. ” -parsley24

“ Not a huge fan, but its not too bad. I would collect it. ” -BasketbalHQ

“ Every time I see one of these cards I think it is a Topps insert from a somewhat recent year. What was that insert set called where you had to find the differences of the pictures? Yeah I think of that insert set. ” -captkirk42

“ I love everything about this set except the white stripe with the URL. ” -switzr1

“ You'll note the web address for the Rockies toward the top of the card. In 1998, teams still did their own websites. It was interesting to see the "flavor" of each franchise, kind of like comparing yearbooks, programs, or pocket schedules. Now, everything is generic so the 30 teams can more easily share web-generated revenue. Yawn. ” -Dave Sosidka

“ Saw a box of these opened recently and they're intriguing. Unfortunately, the player websites no longer exist, but still a very clean design. ” -IfbBirdsCards

“ Pacific in the 1997-2001 time frame had some remarkably good ideas, despite being the #4 card company after Topps, Upper Deck & Fleer (conglomeration with / Donruss/ Pinnacle / Skybox) This set was an interesting concept, but this gimmick was not for me. Give me Pacific Paramount, Crown Collection, Revolution, Invincible, Prism and leave this set on the heap. ” -abide
